The north Georgia waterfalls shown in the following images are located in north Georgia in Lumpkin, Banks, Dawson, Union, Fannin, Gilmer, Rabun, Towns, Stephens, Habersham, Murray, White, Walker, Pickens and Dade Counties. Many of the 117 waterfalls shown have maintained trails and observation platforms, while others are difficult to reach. Still others are on private property and not open to the public. Directions are included for the falls on public property.

Trails in Cherokee National Forest |

| Follow a trail! Over 600 miles of non-motorized trails traverse Cherokee National Forest including the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and four other nationally designated trails. Most trails are designated for multiple use: foot, bike and horse.
